Best Father’s Day Activities to Make Dad’s Day Extra Special

Your father’s special day is coming this month and what better way to celebrate it with special activities that you haven’t done before. The following activities can be unique to you and your father in some way, never having even thought about it before. In Toronto, there is no shortage of activities. Let’s take a look into them.

Ethnic Food Tasting

Start off the early special day with a taste of special cuisine. Thanks to Toronto’s diversity, there is no shortage of exotic foods, like Italian. If your father hasn’t tried a certain dish, head him over to Little Italy’s food event. It is an event for food lovers, which most fathers are.

Axe-Throwing

It might sound dangerous, but axe-throwing is a manly sport for teenager and their fathers to enjoy, as long as it’s supervised. Your dad can even pick this up as a daily sport. It is an uncommon but beneficial sport that can give your father a good rush of adrenaline.

Escape Room

It might sound stressful, but an escape room is a fun and mind-rushing activity that allows you to work with your father. Escape rooms come in all different themes, like a pirate ship or even a corporate office (which might remind your dad of his workplace but in a pleasant sense). Usually, escape rooms are meant for the whole family, but on Father’s Day, you can put your dad in charge as the leader, and he gets a prize when you win the escape room. It is certainly a special and quirky activity that challenges your mind.

Car Show

Modern families have cars, and comparing your car with others at a car show is certainly to be an interesting activity for your father. Check out Yorkville’s Car Show, on Father’s Day, where your dad can test drive a fancy car. He can also pick up an idea for a new car, not that you have to buy it as a Father’s Day gift: Better just to window shop with Dad.

Boat ShowThe aforementioned events correspond well with the summer season, enjoyed outdoors. But a boat show definitely defines the summer season being celebrated at the waterfront. You can both witness and participate in the Dragon Boat festival held at Toronto’s Centre Island. Not only is it a perfect place to spend time with your father, watching the boats sail in the blue water and sunny sky. There will be food and other commodities as well. But if you have a boat, you can pay to attend the race. A boat race with your father highlights your family teamwork and is an exhilarating sport. It is a very special activity to sped with your father.
