Apple Pecan Crumble Tart

The delicious dish serves 12 and can be prepped and cooked all within under an hour. It’s delicious,  flavourful, and can be eaten at any time of the day. So, get out your cooking utensils and let’s get cooking!


  • 12 pre-made tart shells
  • ¼ cup softened butter
  • ¾ cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup candied pecans, roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 apples, peeled, cored, and diced
  • ½ cup unsweetened apple juice
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • pinch of cinnamon 
  • pinch of nutmeg


  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Arrange tart shells on a parchment-lined baking sheet. 
  2. Combine butter, oats, and pecans in a small bowl and set aside.
  3. Mix lemon juice, diced apples, apple juice, cornstarch, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a medium bowl.
  4. Spoon apple mixture into tart shells and top with oat mixture. The filling will form a mound in each shell but will soften and flatten after baking.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with ice cream.
