Ingredients
2 cups of unsweetened almond milk
½ cup of dairy-free vanilla ice cream
¼ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
¼ tablespoon of ground nutmeg ¼ tablespoon of ground cardamom (optional)
1 tablespoon of almond butter
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1-2 tablespoons of maple syrup (or any sweetener of your choice)
Ice cubes (optional for making it extra thick)
A few date fruits (optional for extra heat and flavour)
Preparation
In a blender, combine almond milk, vanilla ice cream, almond butter, cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder, cardamom powder, vanilla extract, dates, and maple syrup. Add in a few cubes of ice for thickness (as per your desire). Blend on high for 20-30 seconds until you reach the desired thick and creamy consistency.
Time to taste test! Adjust the spices and sweetness to your liking and blend it one more time for about 10 – 15 seconds. Pour it into a clear glass and sprinkle some cinnamon and crushed almonds on top. Serve and enjoy!
